Focus and Scope
Journal of Diagnostic Pathology is a peer reviewed journal published biannually by the College of Pathologists of Sri Lanka. The journal publishes manuscripts dealing with all aspects of pathology. The aim of the journal is to update knowledge and encourage original research in the field of pathology. In addition to original research, the journal will publish a wide range of other content aimed at the trainee or practicing pathologist, including review articles, audits, case reports, letters to the editor, technical reports, brief communications and images in cytology/histology. Articles in the Journal of Diagnostic Pathology are Open Access articles, published under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This license permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided it is licensed under the same terms and the original work is properly cited.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published bi-annually.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving Policy
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
